Siem Reap 4 Markets (12/23,24/2012)

Still Sunday, December 23, 2012
After dinner, a few of us were dropped off at the Night Market:
There were several blocks of street stalls and buildings full of stalls.
With scarves:
Other textiles:
Purses and wallets:
Including some made from Elephant Brand cement bags:
But the sights to see were the outdoor massage parlors, for foot massages:
And the so-called Dr. Fish massages, where you paid $1 for 15 minutes of having the dead skin nibbled from your feet by fish:
There were also T-shirts:

Before dinner we were given some time at the Old Market:
Baskets that resemble the sweetgrass baskets of South Carolina:
Elephant paintings:
We crossed the river to the New Market with huts designed in Khmer style and a waterwheel:
We looked unsuccessfully for the Wat Damnak. Ended up getting foot massages and cold drinks:
We were almost the last people back on the bus to return to the hotel!
Next, Siem Reap 5 Two More Temples.
